1. Our approach
A cookie is a small file stored on your device; we also use the browser's local storage, which follows the same rules. Cookies needed to run the Service or to keep a preference you set are exempt from consent. Where the law requires it, all others are set only once you agree (see “Your choice”).
No advertising cookies, no social-network cookies. Refusing changes nothing about how the website or the app works.

4. Your choice
If you visit from the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland — or if your country cannot be determined — a banner on your first visit lets you accept or refuse, one as easily as the other, and nothing is measured before you answer. Elsewhere, audience measurement is on by default unless your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, and you can turn it off the same way. Your country is derived from your IP address by our host (Cloudflare) and not kept beyond the session. Your choice is kept for 13 months, then asked again. You can change it at any time through the Cookie settings link in the footer: withdrawing deletes the cookies concerned at once. The app has no banner of its own: it applies the choice made on the website, or failing that the rule above. You can also block cookies in your browser.
