About
Mailclutch is built by Another, an independent product studio in Rennes. We made it to test the emails our own projects send, then opened it to every team with the same problem.
Our story
Born from a real need
At Another we build and run web products for ourselves and for clients. Every one of them sends email: sign-ups, receipts, password resets. And every one of them needed somewhere safe to send that mail before it reached a real person.
Local catchers worked on a developer's laptop, but nobody else could see them. Hosted tools charged by volume and looked like debug panels. So we built the inbox we wanted: it captures everything, delivers nothing, and anyone on the project can open it with a link.
We used it on our own projects for a long time before selling it. It is still the tool we use every day.

We work from Rennes, the capital of Brittany. The product is designed, built, hosted and supported from here, by the people who wrote the code.
